On 20 and 21 of July, Arknoa is available for a 2 nights booking!

Houseboat Arknoa with central heating, hot running water and view on broad and active canal, offers one large private studio-room, the Elephant room, with 1 double bed (2p.) & 1 couch bed (1p.), for 2 or 3 guests.
(eventually 4g.)
(Price +/- e45.- p.p.p.n. for 3 nights minimum.
For 2 persons only, the price is +/- e45/ 50.-pppn.

Also a second very small room
with a large double bed (1 or 2p.): The NEsT Room (see info below): +/- e40.-pppn

The Elephant Studio:
has a private entrance, 2 large windows, a king size bed and table, a couch-bed, T & coffee-making facilities in the room; a radio, a fridge, Wifi, also a narrow terrace on the canal side where a rowing boat is parked in front of your windows in which you can safely enjoy the feel of the water ...
The room faces the afternoon sun, the canal and 8 grand beautiful trees on the other side of the canal.
It is comfortable, attractive, spacey, family-, gay- and smoker friendly;
Also it is close to the Jordaan district & the streetmarkets there on Saturdays and Mondays. And
very close to the Westerpark...

The Elephant room is situated at the far end of the houseboat with shared bathroom/shower just down the hall next to the inn keeper's living quarters.
You can book this room for 3 persons as a :
THREE BED PRIVATE. (3 guests in one room) or for 2 persons as a PRIVATE DOUBLE. When 4 wish to occupy the room (extra matras) book for 3 and contact houseboat.

Prices are excl. 5% dutch tourist tax.
KEY DEPOSIT is e50.- :
Deposit will be returned when rooms and bathroom/
cups and dishes/ are left tidy and clean behind and when garbage has been removed and key is returned...
When 2 adults wish 2 separate beds, please inform the innkeeper upfront.

Child under age 12 : e25.- (When this person
is the 3rd person).
Soaps and towels are provided.

CHECK-IN is after 16oo. You can deposit bags if arriving early. Please then mail-in to make sure inn keeper is home.
CHECK-OUT is 11am. (For e5.- you can park you bags at the houseboat for the afternoon, if convenient with innkeeper that day).

Houseboat Arknoa is close-by breakfast shops on the Haarlemmerstraat/Dijk. (Barney's Coffee Cie, p.ex. opens at 8a.m.) The supermarket is 5 minutes away (open daily, Sundays included from 8am to 10pm); the houseboat is also close to the Monday and Saturday street-markets of the Jordaan.

Arknoa offers its guests a safe, peaceful and refreshing place to relax in. So welcome to your floating room on the waters and to a good night's sleep!

Contact me to reserve the smaller adjacent Nest room when 4 guests want to occupy both rooms.

In which case the Nest room cost's e80.-p/night for these 2 extra guests and e50.- for one guest. (A very small room with large double bed, with view on the canal).

Independently of the Elephant room, and for one night only, the Nest room costs e70.- p/night for 2p., and e50.- p/night for one guest. Shared bathroom/shower provided, with towls. Please contact directly the houseboat as the calendar here does give no information about occupancy of this room.
Deposit: e25.-p.p. Linnen and towels provided.

Dogs are not directly accepted as there are 2 cats living on board. Special requests can be made.
