Arknoa's Houseboat Accommodations

Houseboat with central heating, hot running water, view on broad and active canal with private entrance. At 9 min walking distance from central station.

Arknoa offers a large private 'Elephant-room' for 2 guests situated at 9 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Railway Station where you find trams and tourist boats to visit further locations in town.
North-West of the houseboat there is a guarded parking at 1e.- p.h. It is a 20min walk back to the houseboat.

The Elephant-room has 2 large windows, a king size bed and table, a narrow terrace on the canal side. It faces the afternoon sun. It is comfortable/attractive/spacey and is smoker friendly. (no Tv for now. / Internet coming up soon.)

With it's own private entrance, it is situated at the far end of the houseboat with shared bathroom/shower just down the hall next to the caretaker's living quarters.
-Tea and coffee-making facilities are available in the room.

Houseboat Arknoa is close-by breakfast shops on the Haarlemmerstraat/dijk. (Barneys Coffee Cie, p.ex. opens at 8am). The supermarket is 5 minutes away (open daily, Sundays included from 8am to 10pm); the houseboat is also close to the Monday and Saturday street markets of the Jordaan and is in a safe area.

The room is in the process of becoming en suite & for the time being it offers 2 -3 travelers a safe and peaceful/ refreshing place to relax in.
The prices mentioned are valid for April and May.
Summer prices from June 1st. to October 1st incl.and the room will be offered as for e45.- pppn.

- The studio room (max.2-3 persons):
- Price for 2 guests in double bed is e88.- per night.
- Price for a third guest Couch/ Studio room is e 44.-
- Price for a child under age 12 Couch/Studio room is e25.-

- Payable on arrival at the houseboat please.
- When 2 adults wish 2 separate beds, make request
upfront.
- Minimum 3 nights in the weekends
- Key deposit is e50. p.person (On arriving please). Deposit will be returned when room and bathroom are left tidy and no damage has occurred. Towels and soaps are available.

Check-in is after 16:00.
You can always arrive early to deposit your bags.
Please also inform the house at what time you plan to arrive.
Check-out at 11 am.

Arknoa offers a second smaller private room for guests of the same party in the 'Bunkbed room' at;

- e50.- for 1adult in Bunkbed-room
- e60.- for 2 children under age 12.
- e35.- for 1 child under age 12.
In the summer, the Bunkbed room costs:
- e90.- p.n. (2 adults).
- e50.- for 1 adult in Bunkbed-room
- e60.- for 2 children under age 12.
- e35.- for 1 child under age 12.

Dogs are not directly accepted as there are 2 cats living on board. Special requests can be made.
