Buffalo Bay Backpackers is a remote beach location situated in the heart of the garden route inside the Goukamma nature and marine reserve. Set amongst the dunes you have a panoramic view of the ocean with sandy beaches stretching to both sides as far as the eye can see.
After an action packed day, organized by the in-house adventure centre, relax and enjoy sundowners on the beach followed by a delicious barbeque around the campfire.

Literally two steps from the beach, our facilities include newly renovated and comfortable dorms/doubles, clean bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, groovy bar, pool table, central fire place, satellite TV/video room, luggage storage etc.
We are a Baz Bus stop and only a fifteen minute drive from Knysna's vibrant town centre. We offer a daily free shuttle service to and from Knysna.
