A charming residence in an exceptional location - Il Sorger del Sole is a listed stone-built country house steeped in history. Nestled into the tranquil hillside of Colle S.Giorgio with over four acres of luscious gardens and ancient olive groves its elevated position commands magnificent panoramic views of the valley, distant medieval towns on hilltops, Monte Conero and the Adriatic Sea.

Il sorger del sole (sunrise) is a perfect hideaway for honeymooners, romantics and those seeking a completely relaxing break.

The house is unique and full of character and has been restored with loving care. The guest rooms are beautiful, individually designed and stunningly styled with independent entrances allowing you, your privacy.

The master en-suite guest room has a wonderful relaxing ambience. It has a seating area with leather sofa and is furnished with comfortable double bed, fridge/mini-bar, CD/ hi-fi, teletext TV, DVD player, bathrobes and hairdryer.

The twin/double guest room is charming. It is accessed through a private vine covered portico with double glass doors to the bedroom and another door to a private dressing/shower room. The bedroom has a seating area and is furnished with fridge/mini-bar, teletext TV/DVD player, bathrobes and hairdryer. Made up as a twin the room is stylish with wrought iron beds and made up as a double the bed is large, comfortable and inviting. Please advise your hosts after booking if you require the room making up as a double.

Room rates include delicious Mediterranean breakfast served in the farmhouse kitchen or in the terraced garden, complimentary mini-bar drinks (re-stocked daily with a bottle of local white wine, a bottle of Italian red wine, beer, a bottle of both frizzante and naturale mineral water & milk), complimentary tea & coffee tray and shower gel/shampoo & soap.

If you require an extra comfortable fold up bed in your room please advise after booking, the cost is 25 euros per night including breakfast etc, payable on arrival. Rooms are cleaned & re-stocked daily and towels and bed linen are changed regularly Tourist information, local restaurant guide, a selection of CDs, DVDs, magazines and books are provided in guest rooms.

Located only some 30 minutes drive from Ancona/Falconara international airport and the Riviera del Conero on the Adriatic coast. Il sorger del sole is ideally placed for either potential house buyers or holidaymakers exploring the Marche region.

There are restaurants in our local villages of Troviggiano and Avenale offering a set meal of the day for 12 euros, both within walking distance. We offer 'eat with your hosts dinners' for guests who prefer to stay in.

We often have guests who do not hire a car and use public transport. We offer a courtesy car service to our local village of Troviggiano for guests wishing to use the regular bus service to Cingoli and Macerata with onward connections.
