Welcome to the Allison House in Edinburgh. The Allison House guesthouse is an elegant family-run townhouse owned and managed for 17 years by David and Anne-Marie Hinnrichs.

All our 10 bedrooms have been recently tastefully refurbished using Black Watch and Lindsay tartan fabric. All rooms are equipped with a private shower, free wireless internet, LCD television, direct dial telephones, writing desk, trouser press, hair dryer, ironing facilities, complimentary hospitality tray, radio and complimentary decanter of whisky and sherry.

Our rates are inclusive of breakfast (B&B), with a choice of a traditional cooked Scottish breakfast or an extensive Continental Buffet for those who prefer something lighter. Our buffet offers a choice of fruit juices, large selection of fresh fruit, cereals, croissants and pastries as well as continental cheeses.

Our wonderful location allows guests easy access to Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, The Scottish Parliament, Whisky Heritage Centre and many other famous attractions.

There is frequent public transport to and from the guest house and allows our visitors travelling by car to park for free during their stay.

Check in is from 12.00pm onwards.

Check out is at 11am.

Most Credit Cards are accepted. However we take a 5% supplement on American express and we do not accept Diners.

There is a 48hrs cancellations policy.
