From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Pile Gate entrance to Old Town; please note that this will require a descent of over 150 stairs. Alternatively, a 15-minute walk downhill (without stairs) leads to the Ploce gate entrance to Old Town an pebble beach Banje. In either case, the return trip will take longer as it involves an uphill climb. Insider tip: for those who wish to avoid the uphill return trip, there is a shuttle bus that runs continuously from Pile gate to the Dubrovnik parking garage, which is conveniently located just 100 meters away from these apartments. The cost of this bus is approximately 10 Kuna per person.
