Property Description

The Isle of Skye is the place to come to escape the stresses of city life. It's so blissfully quiet here that the only thing that disturbs the peace is the occasional crying seagull (and maybe a drunk local or two!).
The most remarkable thing about Skye is that it is an island of mountains. The Cuillin Mountains are incredibly dramatic and rugged, so don't forget your camera! And bring your walking boots - this is a paradise for walkers.
Skye Backpackers is in Kyleakin, and overlooks the village square. It's a small cosy hostel with an open fire in the lounge and a lovely garden out the back. Our dormitory rooms have comfortable beds with clean fitted sheets and we also have a couple of double rooms.The hostel reception is open from 7.30am - 12 noon and then from 5pm - 10pm. If you arrive in the afternoon feel free to leave bags and use the facilities but check in is from 5pm-10pm - thank you.
