Property Description

Prefer a more traditional approach to a city, then St. Christopher's Inn is the place to be. Once an original coaching inn, this place has been around since the 1500's. You can't mistake the haunting character that time has draped over the walls of the hostel. And in keeping with tradition, your downstairs pub offers up pints of ale and fish n' chips. Anyone can stay somewhere new and flashy; the cultured ones will opt for an authentic bit of history.

The best of all worlds is the beauty of Southwark's trio of St. Christopher's hostel locations. Quiet Orient Espresso, the ancient Inn and party central Village; has everything you could ever possibly need. Living in London' centre has you walking to the River Thames, Tower Bridge, the Tower of London, the London Dungeon, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tate Modern Gallery and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The kind of attractions that don't need introduction or explanation and the reasons that thousands of tourists come to London every year are all part of your new neighbourhood. There is also the Borough Market, a traditional fruit and vegetable market that also carries specialty food, seafood and organic/fair trade foods. The weekend crowds are more than enough reason to include this on your must sees of England's capital. Grab a latte at one of the cosy market side cafes and watch the world go by.

No matter which hostel you're checking into, reception is at the Village. This is the hub site of the street, with a brand new chill-out room with TV, playstation, internet, beanbags and comfy couches - available to all staying at Southwark hostels.

Tuesdays and Thursdays:
St Christopher's does LAS VEGAS! Poker Night.
Play some poker - any level welcome. Cheap drinks (of course). Free accommodation to be won. Cocktails dress and black tie welcome! (but we'll let you in if you've just got jeans!).

Wednesdays, Fridays:
