Port Douglas Retreat features traditional North Queensland architecture with the extensive use of timber in the entry, walkways and pool surrounds. Built on only two levels the building blends in with the tropical gardens that attract many native birds. Facilities include a large freeform saltwater pool (heated winter) and spacious outdoor entertainment area with gazebo and barbecues surrounded nightly by romantic mood setting gas flames. Perfect for couples or single travellers.

Port Douglas is situated at the end of a peninsula, the tranquil waters of a natural harbour on one side of the village embrace a lively marina. The other side of the peninsula stretches the breathtaking sandy sweep of beautiful Four Mile Beach.
You can soak up the sunshine on the beach, stroll among the village shops, galleries, historic buildings and the seaside Sunday market.
